The technical term for the manner of driving will be DLAC! But you can guarantee "I wasn't even doing 30 officer!"

@Keet ,

Driving Like A ..........no cant work it out

Think you'll find DLAC is an acutal term the Police use. Im assured the C stands for Clown.

Very good footage from your dash cam. What one is it as I am thinking of getting one.

What an idiot! Only hope that no-one was hurt.

Dashcam does look a good quality one.

Hard to understand how you can roll a car into that position. Can only think they were tanking up from behind the recovery truck to find a car already on the main road, swerve left violently and over it goes. Bound to have been ‘somebody else’s fault’ I bet the driver bleated to the police.

Have had two drivers coming towards me on the same 100m stretch of road in the last couple of days - one van driver overtaking a parked car then gesticulating like a demented clown and this morning a huge fixed bed lorry turning right across the wrong side of the junction without checking for anything coming up to the junction. He nearly ended up on the pavement opposite. To55ers....

That one yesterday was totally on his/her own. Nothing else involved Ian.

Tony.

No one else involved in it.

Tony.

@t-tony is your dashcam a nextbase one?

No it's not Dawn. I bought one last year and it was hopeless, I exchanged it at Halfords for another and it was just as bad so I got my money back and bought one for half the price.
My original cam from my Z3 was very similar and lasted 8 years.

What were the issues Tony? Had mine a couple of years now, hard wired in, and no probs with great footage.

I know you have Andy, that's the reason I decided to get one mate.
The first one did not record sound at all and the second one recorded sound but the video was very poor.
I contacted their support service and spent quite a lot of time trying various things including buying a memory card from PC World after they told me that cards I purchased from Car phone Wharehouse were cheap "knock offs".
The camera I have now works fine with these cards So I don't know.

Tony.

ps. I was trying to get this all sorted before we went to Florida in the spring but as time got short I went for the camera I have now.

That's pretty poor service mate. Touch wood and hoping mine stays on track :nailbiting:

Thanks for sharing your experiences @t-tony so what dashcam do you use? The footage is very good.

I'll add a link later Dawn. There's a few other videos on YouTube.

Tony.
