i would like to see pics of the wheels you have on your M's.
can you please state what size/ make /or had an effect done..... and if you required spacers to make the look right.
i really do like OE ones but must admit iv seen some stunning ones out there and i just want a nosy.
mine with OE no spacers...although i think i could push it to 10/15 mm....just to fill it out a bit more

You cant beat the original M wheels mate..
They look awesome in shadow chrome

I'm also running 12mm spacers on the rear, perfect for the M rears

Swamps I think 12-15mm will be fine mate..
I've seen shadow chrome on an estoril M and they look the nuts.. I will be changing mine to shadow chrome in the near future..

Mine really need a refurb but don't know where is best to go for the shadow chrome finish. I had some done for my e36 years ago but it wasn't quite the same, very close but it quite if you know what I mean.

What's the verdict so far swamps? spacers, no spacers, different wheels completely? Have you seen any other wheels out there you like the look of?

well i was wondering about the spacers and if the can cause wheel rub...also how much they could affect the handling.
i think i would have to go for some completely different wheels.....the rondells look good in 18s...but then again the AC's are a class act.
i dont think i want polished rims as iv been their and spent hours getting them back to mirror finish. @-)
i dont want any stretched tyres as i think some tyres look good.... ie pilot sport but would like some wider rims than OE on the rear.
so im very undecided yet.
plus it gives the lads chance to show of what they have on theirs B-)

well i was wondering about the spacers and if the can cause wheel rub...also how much they could affect the handling.

I found the 15mm spacers I put on my Z3 made the rear feel more stable, not sure what the effect would be on an ///M though.

i found the same Gaz ...the rear was much more planted ...but an M might be a different matter...lower with wheels pushed to the edge and driven hard ...maybe lower profiles could be in order...but the ride would be harsh

Mark it may be the photos but those wheels look much closer to the color of the s50's (is it satin?) here is a few pics of the ones i bought recently (fully refurbed):

Compared with my original s54 rims (much darker with a musky chrome like finish)

Although I like the shadow chrome I think the lighter satin works better with the silver
