i'm going for black rims, diamond cut edge and high power silver spokes.

Calipers will go red whilst the wheels are off (cheesy i know) and i might tackle the job of the window regulator :-ss

Sorry, couldn't resist it! Which wheels have you got on your Z4?

ok ok images to come, they have been stripped (******* 3 bolts snapped!) which answers the wheels question! (split rim bbs bmw originals) stripped of paint, straight into the oven in the morn for warming up before powder coating, diamond cutting, lacquer then back together I-)

Edam is goooooooood!

PICS WILL FOLLOW!!!!!

A-ha, a victim of the rotting 108's then... #-o

I have them too, and they were resprayed on the cheap so are losing chunks of paint daily. Will need to get them refurbed at some stage as well.

Best looking Z4 wheel by miles though, so worth the pain.

Yeah they are well worth it.

My mates place paint it UK are on the same trading estate as me (luckily), he stopped painting and only does powder coating now, I think the thickness of the powder rounds off any sharp (therefore thin) edges, guess that's why he give 5 year warranty. Only costing me 170 including the diamond cutting :ymhug:

Don't suppose you've done a windows regulatory?

Stripped, rough cut was needed to take out a slight warp :ymparty:

Not bad, but not a patch on z3m wheels.
Hate to say it but got to agree with the badman.I've got 108's on the Z4 but i've always thought ( i know its personal taste ) but the Z3m wheels have always been my favorite. The simplicity of the design and nice smooth lines ...Great!.

Whats the offsets on a zed 4 and are they staggered. Just wondering that if i do get one can i swap the wheels off the z3 as i am not too keen on the z4 wheels.

Z3 wheels are interchangeable with the Z4, and vice versa. Most of the larger standard Z4 rims are staggered sets, but they are all the same irrespective of Z4 model.

As usual always worth checking the offsets etc. I know the 108's Grimstead has will fit a Z3, as I was looking to switch wheels on my Z3/Z4 to see what the looked like.

Z3M wheels aren't a direct fit, in the same way as they aren't with non-M Z3's. Not sure I've ever seen a Z4 with them fitted, be interest to see what they looked like.
