Hi everyone
I have mv2 replica alloys on my car, they are 8j x 18 with an offset of 35. The front tyres are 225/40 18 rears are 235/40 18
The problem is the rear wheels just look too far in and I think it ruins the look of the car, I was thinking of fitting some hubcentric spacers but not sure what size to get. I have tried using a tape measure from the tyre measuring outwards to try and work out what size I need but its hard to tell. 20mm looks like it would bring the tyre to the edge but I am not sure if it would be too much but I dont want to buy 15mm ones to find its not enough.
Is their anyone here who has the same size wheels & offsets on a facelift who has fitted spacers or anyone who knows which size would be the best fit
Thanks

My 18's are as follows...

Rim Width: 8.5J
Diameter: 18 inches
Offset: 40
Tyre Width: 225 Rim

I put 20mm spacers on mine and they are spot on!

Thanks for the fast replies
Looks like I will go for 20's then
Just one thing though with my offsets being 35 & gaz's offset 40 will this make my wheel stick out 5mm further & if so will this still be ok
Cheers

My post seems to have disappeared but as Dan says your wheels will stick out another 5mm the rule is the lower the offset the more the wheel sticks out ;) you may still be ok with 20's though.
