Wheel size

Hi will Rondell style 42’s 17" 8j ET37 fit my wide body 2.8 1997?
I’ve tried ‘will they fit’ and it’s seems to say they will.
but any further knowledge greatly appreciated. Going to look this evening.

Willtheyfit.com is a great resource but only compares like for like wheels and tyre packages and can aid with changing tyre sizes to show clearance and rolling radiuses etc. A better resource is BMW Style Wheels to see what wheels were factory options and then using these individual specs to decide what you'd like to do.
