Halfords went View attachment 11480 over here last year, honestly.....big empty shop on the high street now.
Can't think why Mike, they send me emails almost every day advertising their "sales events". Unless most, like me, ignore them. Credit though where credit us due, they do make very good quality paints/aerosols.

I have to say that I haven't found anything better than Autoglym wheel cleaner, just enough active cleaner and soap to leave your wheels sparkling clean.

I wouldn't use anything aggressive on the wheels.
Some products are too harsh and eventually eat away at the wheel finish.
Bilberry is very good, and as Gaz said it can be diluted to your requirement.

It's all about preparation.

If you built up coats of wax on them normal washing will keep them clean (shampoo).
Just use a different wash mitt to the one used on the bodywork and a separate bucket.
