Went for a 4 wheel alignment today for my e92... I was concerned that they wouldn't be able to free the rear toe and camber adjustment bolts but the car was in an out in 10 minutes which surprised me a little to say the least... I have just fitted new front tie rods so the front wouldn't have been an issue but had previously taken it somewhere else and they weren't able to free the rear bolts.

They didn't actually give me a print out but I managed to grab a picture of the alignment specs before and after as I left.

Got home and noticed they've used e46 specs... And that the rear toe and camber figures look the same... Am I missing something here?

So it turns out they hadn't aligned the rear - despite charging me for it and telling me they were able to get the rear camber and toe adjustment bolts loose.

Shocking service especially for a big, supposedly 'reputable' garage. Con artists...

Hi mate, went in today had to wait an hour and a half before they were able to get the car on the lift.

Insisted on being there whilst they had the car on the lift and there's no way those rear bolts were going to budge, they haven't been touched for the entire life of the car. The tech had a breaker bar on the bolt and was hanging off the bar but the bolt wasn't going to move...

They realigned the front (using the right specs this time) and gave a part refund...

What gets me most though is that they said they were able to get the rear bolts loose and adjust the rear the first time I went in and they clearly hadn't touched them.

There will be people out there without the knowledge who they'll be ripping off just like they tried with me.
