favorite hire car? all of them. nothing handles like a hire car. the ones that are hired by your company handle better and are faster than the one you hire yourself. and the more foriegn the country the better it handles as well.

Not had a Z3 as a rental car, but did once get an MX-5. Was either that or a Volvo S60. Spent 3 days buzzing round Scotland in it roof down...

I always seem to finish up with a Ford Kia.k or Fiat multipla .stick, mind you I have damaged a few. i.e shunting to get out of a tight space when parallel parked. Pieced a door on a piece of metal sticking out of a wall. Ripped the front valance off a fiat panda in kruger national park south Africa when I got stuck in a deep pot hole and her in doors would not get out and push claiming some stupid reason about lions. Ripped a big hole in a tyre on a Massive kerb in Mallorca, then changed it for the spare and on returning it offering to pay for a new wheel trim only to be told "we expect wheel trim damage, there is no charge Sir"
So my top tip is always make sure you get your Visa chit back for the deposit.

Sorry forgot one, stoved the sills in on a Citroen in portugal off roading

Now a feel so much better for confessing!!

Always used to be a Smart Roadster when I got back home at Amsterdam airport but you can not rent them any more after production stopped in 2005.
Great fun to drive but I would never buy one.

Clio RS200 at the Nurburgring last year... not my brakes, not my tyres, not my clutch! :))

Mind you, the £8k excess kept the senses alert :)
