Have you been breaking clutch cylinders again???
Yes. The OEM one has an angled nozzle, but on the spare one that I had, it was straight. I thought it was a bit tight, but thought it would be ok. It wasn't.

Brake warning light came on. I suspected the hose had come off, but it was much worse than that. Luckily, I managed to get home with the minimum use of the clutch.

Carpet up. Lots of towels and paper rags to soak up the brake fluid. Lots of swearing. Master cylinders must be second worse job on the car, after the heater matrix.

I need to make a new clevis for the spare master cylinder, then I will have a really good one. I've tried using an M3 bolt, but that sheared.

All this has been caused by having a lightened racing clutch whose diaphragm spring is too strong :banghead:

I did wonder if it was related to the clutch swap you did a few years back 😩
Yeah. The diaphragm spring is too strong. That broke the clevis on the OEM cylinder.

The replacement cylinder had a straight nozzle. The original is angled. The straight one broke because the hose put too much stress on it.

I've used a new (longer) hose and a brass nozzle. I hope that should be enough.
