Announcement "What's New" Post Count showing incorrectly - under investigation

It's ok having this section, but I keep getting unread posts for it but can't access it. Can't the new post notifications for this section only be viewed by the ladies ? It's quite annoying
 
Gonna need more information to figure out what you are seeing. Is it...
  • An alert next to the flag by your forum name
  • The red indicator next to "What's New"
  • It says New next to the forum
  • Something else
 
Hi Gaz, apparently I have 13 unread recent posts, ................... but I haven't. Is this connected with the Ladies lounge maybe?

Yes, just logged a request with the developer so hopefully will get a quick answer.

For now just click on "Mark Forums Read" and that will clear the counter.

You have that already, it's called the NSFW area. Fits the function perfectly.

Gaz, after the Ladies section was opened a few weeks ago several of us mentioned that the "recent posts" showed us we had some unread posts when, actually, we didn't. Last night the total on my account showed 124 and during today it has crept down, now, to 119. Is there a reason for this please?
I am only curious that's all and wondered if anyone else had noticed it too.:)

ps. Normal is nice.;)

@t-tony I'm waiting for a fix at the moment. Click on Mark Forums Read, and it will reset the count back to Zero for you.
