Whats missing from my centre consol

Morning, I am trying to work out what's missing from my centre consol. I am struggling to find an image of this configuration. Is it possible its got an aftermarket facia to run a double din head unit? Or is a single din and I am missing something else.

That's aftermarket, pre-facelifts look like this. The post facelift are the same layout but with a different style of buttons across the bottom section. All Z3 came with a single DIN unit.

Perfect thanks. I wondered if that was the case. I'll need to go looking for the extra loom then. The ASC button would be handy.

You should find all the loom still in place tucked down in there somewhere. The centre console panels are generally available from a tame breaker as are the buttons. You just need to take the whole centre section out to switch the panels over.
