Guys, can you please spell this out for me, I have a 99 2.0l what gearbox and diff oil do I need, thanks

I put castrol syntrax and castrol syntrans in mine Sean from opie oils.
Been advised from the guys on here the following mate;
Fuchs Titan Sintofluid. SAE 75W -80 gearbox and Castrol Syntax LSD 75W-140 for the Diff from

Thanks for the input guys but a while ago I read that BMW did an oil for life, this will obviously need a change but I'm sure that I also read that it will need different oil. Do I have an LSD
If you have a 2.8 you'll have a 25% lsd.
Sean's is a 2.0, I would go to a good retailer and buy the oil grades specified in you handbook mate. If you give them the reg. no. they will have the correct oils you need.

Go and speak to opie oils if you are unsure. They are the business and sell oils at the best prices
Just had a look Mike and no mention of the diff

Looks like I don't have a slip diff as this is what I get under "Standard equipment"
