Thinking about working at that time, I went on a course at the Ryton plant and just found this,

I visited the Ryton Plant in the late 70's. Had a meal of Haddock with a poached egg on top in the factory cafe, at the time found very strange.
Don't remember anything else Rootes cars of the day pretty forgettable.
