Little did I realise when I bought my Z what adventures it would bring me,but more importantly what this forum would bring. There are quite a number of different z related forums, but one stands out way above any other and I'm pleased to say I'm part of it.This is a very special place and we should treasure it and the folks that make it what it is .Thanks a lot guys.

I have to agree, at my age I have never done anything like this via the net in my life! I'm not on anything like Facebook or any social media site as I'm not that techie! Having bought my Z last summer as nothing but a pure toy it has become a real stress reliever from my work and to just get in it and take a weekend drive is a real pleasure:D:D

Having joined this site I've not met many people in person but hope that will change this summer, but I can say that looking and following some of the threads it is really amazing what people will do for others in their passion for their Z's. Frankie & Hugh's recent road trip together with some of Lee's home repairs on Z's are a true testament to the spirit of the forum.

A truly amazing site -

My Zed has given me joy and lots of smiles
Without my Panther I think I would be really sad!!
I agree this forum is amazing I have fell in love with my zed all over again since joining!! This family is the best!!!
If it wasn't for @GazHyde for creating the links for us ZEDDERS I would still be stuck on facebook with no meet up no giggles and no zed fun!!
If this family wasn't started I would of never arranged my first event let alone a second meet at Silverstone and never of been on the F1 grid which was my dream!!
Also my Panther would not of been on the road without the AMAZING @Lee
Met lots of people here and still loads of you to meet
Sending Zed love to you all you ZEDDERS
@miller1098 you are amazing what you did for @FRANKIE what a real cool adventure!! Loved the story and hope you guys get a spot in the 2016 calendar xx

What has a Z done for me? Wow, that's a lot of typing for me then. Oh, go on then I'll keep it brief...

I can't really explain the "road" mine has taken me down because some evenings I'm still completely perplexed by what actually goes on here. Seriously, did some bloke from Wales just go on an E*P*I*C road trip across the US with an American guy who flew over to the UK because he just happens to own the same car? What the hell, how does that even become a real thing that happens!

But the great thing is that we were all there when it happened, and I honestly felt part of it. Plain bonkers when you think about, but this is the age we live in that we can come together with people not only from the same country, but from all over the world - Zeds Sans Frontieres! (rough translation - Zeds without borders).

This was part of a huge list of utterly memorable moments I've had since buying a Zed back in early 2010. But I only bought a Z3 because one of my best mates bought a Z3M Roadster many many years before and let me have a drive of it. If he hadn't bought one, then I probably wouldn't have bought one... but he did, and I did so the rest is history.

But for all that, this fantastic community is the sum of all it's members (that's you lot). I'm proud to run this site with you all; for me this has been my awesome road trip!

What has my Z done for me .......... ;)
It's brought me out of my shell on the forum :)
I'm really quite a quiet person , but on the forum , my fingers do the talking , and I can type happily away :)
We're also been on lots of meets with the EAC , and meet lots of wonderful new friends ;)
And hopefully will meet more this summer ;)
We brought our Z because things change when something tragic happens ........ :(
Our Z has put a smile on my face and make me happy with all the joy it has given us ;)
The site is fantastic ..... :)
The people are fantastic ...... :)
And all the credit goes to the people who created the site and keep it all going for us :)
What would I be doing now without .org ;)
We're got so much to look forward to with our Z :)
I'm always ( as you all must know =))) on the site 24/7 to see what is going on :)
I luv to see what all you people my friends have been up too ;)
So keep the stories coming ........... :)
See you all soon :thankyou:

It's made me check my spelling before hitting the post, it's regenerated the love I had for my Z when I first purchased it, it's given me a pic on the F1 grid with likewise people, it's given me the ability to communicate with car(Z) mad nutters 24/7 like myselfe, it's cost me a bloody fortune in extra bits to satisfy my new eagerness to update, it's made me realise that I'm not the only Z owner with the urge to drive with other Zs and feel part of something special when we're out together, but most of all it's made me realise just how uneconomical a Z 2.8 really is, especially when your a pensioner, what ever happened to the 5/- gallon of petrol. At this rate I'll have to dig in to the off shore account. Shhhhhhhhhh=))

Literally It opened the World for me , healed my soul (on the forum) and put a continuous smile on my face when driving!:)
Next step, probably like many mates here on the forum (and fresh Jim and Frankie), look for a second one...for safety!

Wow what a powerful thread this is! Everyone spilling there heart out. Gaz your a legend, only met you once so far but your a smashing bloke and what you do on this forum is fantastic.
Right what's my Zed done for me? Well car wise, I've always loved cars but never had the money to buy a "toy" to tinker with and drive out on a nice day enjoying the true smells and countryside that a drop top car can offer you. Now as above I don't do twatter, faceache or any other sites other than tother side which now appears to be dwindling after finding this forum. I genuinely love it on here, people I have met that I truly see as my friends. Mint, billz, Moz (your a d******* but your bloody ace!) Paul, Koolflyer, t-tony and the lovely very excitable Stacey but to name a few. I've never bothered with hobbies before the Zed. My dogs are my passion and that was always enough but now there's my Zed family who are all really important to me. My cyber yet to meet friends, can't wait to meet you all on future events.
I hope to be around here for a long time if you'll let me stay???....... "Jue, pass me a hanky!"

Here's to future Zedding! :drinks:

Cheers all
Dave.
