It's hard to tell without seeing them on a car, but the first one looks like a snow plough. Not to my personal taste at all!

Found this picture on the site, and it looks like it's sniggering like Muttley

Wouldn't be such a problem on the track.
....and I could get them for 100€ (80£) each (front bumper, rear bumper, sideskirts).
A price for which I can't fabricate a bumper myself.

Ah, I thought you were thinking of producing something similar to sell.

I guess for a track car at that price it doesn't matter so much how they look!

I think there bleedin awful.. Sorry :(

To 'Max Power' for me

I think if they are for the track car where you not also want cheap panels as you will probably inevitably bend one or two plus you will want to stand out from the crowd to give yourself some track presence. I think painted and given the right livery they will look good on the track but agree not for a road car really.

I wouldn't get out of my drive at that height

I quite like #3.
Who knows? If I decide to muck about with my car?
#3? The 2 first pictures is the front bumper, then 1 of the side skirts, then the rear bumper.
Would you put the rear bumper on the front? No surprise your car has crashed if you mess up front and back :-) :-) :-)

How much have you had to drink tonight bonzo?

Ooops Zedonist, I should have credited Z3cade with the grammar gaffes rather than you my old sparring partner. Please accept my unreserved apologies for this mistake. :angelic:

So, back on topic: mixed feelings about the bumpers.
In the meantime I think I have crossed the line of good and wrong mods on a car.
But I will post pictures mid next week, when it's all installed.

Just out of interest why do you need to change the bumpers? I've re-read the thread, and can't see a reason. Is it weight saving again, or for aerodynamic gains?

Actually I've been looking for a very cheap m bumper for some time (as I like the idea of cooling the brakes).
On top of that, I need to make a front splitter, but as you can also see on matt's car, if you put the splitter directly under the standard bumper, the sp,itter it mounted too high. As matt, most put a vertical put first to lower the splitter a couple of cm.

This bumper is lower already. And it with the possibility of having brake air ducts.

Extra it any costs 100€( because of a shop clearance) so I'm not able to fabricate it myself for that price
