Hi, I think I've finally found a replacement 2.8 single VANOS engine! Whilst I'm doing the swap I'm going to change the dmf/clutch as its a little noisy and if I don't do it now it'll bit me. The cars on 117k so probably still the original.

I'm contemplating a smf and wondered what kits people recommended? (I'm aware of the advantages/disadvantages) I'll stick with dmf if the pricing isn't too different. I've currently priced it up at £512.

Thanks in advance for any input.

I had a DKM clutch in my car for awhile. Was a good kit but I went with the high torque one to try to keep up with the turbo engine in my car. Drove fine and was nice but the pedal pressure was advertised as a little higher. In truth it was horrible and you ended up with a left leg twice the size of the right after getting stuck in traffic.
