So, just drove back up to Derbyshire from Berkshire. There was a point where I drove at "some" miles per (long story but there was an Audi TT misbehaving....and a short time later there wasn't )
On my return I discovered that my offside rear hub has pealed itself of its paint. What could generate this sort of heat in the hub and leave the caliper intact?
This was the first drive I've done since a local garage stripped and rebuilt all my calipers as one was sticking (not this one!)
Opinions?
