Today Sara had a day in Cromarty with a chum, and when I collected her, she said that she had acquired a couple of window sashes (from a skip, with permission!), and could we take them home?

Indeed we could, and with the boot lid closed, to my surprise; so the next task to be added to the carpentry list is ‘make a cold frame’.

What can you get in your boot?

Cheers

Making a cold frame? Yes. I can see those sashes as lids on a cold frame. Good bit of recycling.

Yer gonna need some planks for the sides. If you make it as two small cold frames same size as the sashes then everything should fit.

Or you could roll some longer planks home on a b&q trolley. Then chuck the trolley into the canal. Job done.

And, speaking of carpentry Paul, our Gary gave me a small task the other week which I did on Monday and Tuesday of this last week.
He recently fitted a kitchen, and having cut out the worktop for the sink he wanted me to make a cutting board out of the piece he cut out.
Here it is.

Sorry missed this Tony. Yes, it was, we took the boot photos just over 2 weeks before we went to Andorra. P broke her leg in the first week and we returned home. For those who don't know about the Z5, it was what we named her wheelchair.;)

This is turning into one if those "students in a mini" challenges.

Now there's an idea. Anyone have any spare students lying around? See how many you can get into a z3 boot - without waking them up.
