They go under the rear beam main bush and bolt to the chassis

You should also have 4, 6mm Allen screw bolts left over. 2 for each side of the car.

They locate the rear beam laterally on the chassis. I may be stating the obvious but - Don't drive the car without them!!

Thank you! No driving has occured, as I was a little concerned! Really helpful information, I left the subframe hanging on its bolts so will raise it tonight and bolt these brackets back in :)

Maybe a bit late, but its worth substituting hex head bolts of the same grade and length for the Allen bolts.
