Since this thread started I've been following the prices of cars and the sales.
No Alpina Roadster S has come onto the Market with less than 36K miles in the last 12 months. The ones that have been for sale have hung around. I've looked at a couple and found the condition really disappointing. I even paid a deposit on one that was described as immaculate but on viewing it was tatty and unloved. The body was "As New", but the interior was all scratched and "Well Used". I always think that the condition of the interior and exterior should match... or a story is told!
What has really surprised me though is the speed that low mileage Z4M Roadsters have sold for and the prices now being achieved. I rang about a 19K mileage vehicle last week and the car was sold within two hours to a dealer for just under the £15K asking price. Impressive. Added to that the dealer travelled the 150 miles to collect it.
I think this year could be a good year to own a quality example of a Z4 or a Z3.
This one of similar mileage has also just been sold for £19,850.00

Currently the best example on the market is this gem. 12,800 miles. I wonder how long it will be available for?
