Has anyone any experience of using Westway Lubricants for engine or transmission oil? They seem very popular in some enthiusiast communities, their oils are cheap, the correct BMW specs and no one seems to have a bad word to say. They're a British company, not sure if they blend their own oils but they cetainly aren't a mickey mouse importer sticking their own labels on junk. They sell on ebay and have 100% feedback over 75k transactions.

I know some will say it's better to spend a few quid extra and only buy so and so. But I'm interested if anyone has actually used this stuff. Their LT2 gearbox oil is £26 for 5 litres delivered. It sounds ridiculously cheap but it's to spec - LT2 replaces LT1 which is the correct spec for many of our gearboxes on here. Yellow label Gertrag in my case although I believe it's correct for 2.8/3.0 ZF as well.

Is that a “Delivered” price Rob or do you have to collect? I would certainly use it.

Thanks @mrscalex, I've just looked at their website, it claims UK made oils and the prices on their website are Inc Vat and shipping. I'm definitely bookmarking them

Then I would say it’s a very good price.
