Went shopping & the boot wasn’t big enough!

Popped over to see @Synclare today for some bits for my latest project.

One of the parts I needed was a bonnet, and these don’t exactly fit in a boot.



Lashed it down for the trip home!

Excellent Jim! My car needs a replacement bonnet one day and I'm due to drive down from Scotland to Norfolk in November in a full Volvo estate. So a return up the M6 or A1/A1M via a supplier of pre-loved Z3 bonnets might be a possibility, although it's rather a long way back!

Lashed it down to the roof bars with some straps and did a max of 60mph home and all was good

The existing bonnet’s paint has had a reaction and cracked and so to needs taking back to bare metal to sort out. A lot easier to buy another bonnet and paint.
