Waxy smell gone!

New to the forum with my 99 2.0 in green.

I am thrilled to report that having removed the sound deadening from behind the dash (took me 7 hours as I had to remove the dash) the pungent crayon wax smell is virtually gone, so I’ll be keeping the car. Yay!! I replaced it with some standard sound deadening off eBay.
