Water spots

Hi all. Just watched a couple Youtube videos about removing waterspots from glass and was wondering what folks here thought about the best method for getting waterspots off? Some of the best results seemed to be from using a mild steel wool with some detergent; just worried about scratching the glass. Anyone?

Just try rubbing some glass (maybe something from a breaker?) before doing it on your own car. Very fine Scotchbrite pad could be an option. To be honest it's hard to imagine needing more than a good glass polish. Can you post a picture or three?
