Water leak into the boot

Hi, I'm relatively new to Z3 ownership. Today I've noticed after heavy rainfall a leak into the boot as you can see in the photos, but cant work out where its coming from. I'm sure this has been posted about before so apologies, I did look but couldn't find anything.

Also behind the drivers seat was slightly damp but I did put the top down when I was still wet so doing that might have caused this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Aerial grommet another one to look at from the boot source. Worth checking the bungs in your A pillar rubbers if your getting damp in the cabin as well as checking drainage holes where the fan blower is underneath the winder wiper plastics. Also the see if your door card membranes are intact. The carpets can feel dry but if you lift them up the insulation sponge can hold loads of water. That’s just covering basis to check not to alarm you of loads of problems but once check and ticked off job done for a season.

I've stripped the boot out tonight and started drying it all out. The aerial grommet isn't leaking and neither is the third brake light both very dry. So as you say I'm presuming it's the roof drains, this looks like a pain of a job as I don't want to take the roof off, any tips? I've watched the video that people have mentioned before to see where the hole is etc. Where does the hole come out under the car and is it easier to unblock from that way?

Thanks

Checking the front for water ingress is going to be my next challenge now!
