Washer bottle grommet and filter

Im stumped.

Took off my washer bottle today in order to deep clean. Pulled rubber grommet out of the hole where the pump fits and filter peice falls into the bottle.

I can’t work out how to fit the grommet back with the filter?! Grommet goes in on its own but if you try and include the filter part it falls out into the bottle again.

Any ideas? I’m tempted to just replace without the little filter part and just make sure I only use pristine washer fluid.

Wrap a length of the white PTFE plumbing tape round it and push it in.
That will hold it in position
