Hi everyone and Bad Boy.
Thought I would share some of my car cleaning skills and tips with you all.
Today I was planning to titillate my Z by giving her a good clean up after a tough winter, road salt and all that.
Then I got a call that I had to go in to work, bit of a problem on one of the drilling rigs.

OK, so hi ho and off to work we go and then I thought of this.......... :bulb

Set up at 140 deg C and a working pressure of 180 bar, the best way to use it was at a distance of approx +/- 2 meters from the intended target, worked a treat and the low pressure rotary nozzle was brilliant for the underside of the car.

Did not stop there though, as I thought the old girl would enjoy a good buffing (naughty word in Dutch)
So treated her to this........ :D

Very pleased with the final result and will be using it again, so stick that in your bucket Bad Boy....... :ymdevil:

Just wondering how she reacted to your 'titillation' Hardtop!! as I was under the impression that it was stimulation by tickling!!! ;) :ymdevil:
Did you actually mean titivate??? :D or perhaps you were right in the first place!!! :))

Don't know whether we have anything like that Glossing tunnel over here? :-?

Vheeeehickle....)

What a load of rubbish..

You won't get a professional finish with a glorified car wash..

It will add swirls, miss parts and leave excess polish everywhere.. Then you've got to wax it after surely?

It depends on what the rollers are made of.

If there microfiber then ok if not, no good.

No. If you have never used it, then you can not really make a comment IMHO.

Where did I say that I was expecting a "professional finish" ?
After power washing the car I washed her by hand, using all of Bad Boys tips, using some expensive car shampoo that I nicked form my bosses' office..... :ar!
After freezing my nuts off on a cold grey damp winters day, I decided that I had had enough.

This is a brand new system and I was walked through the machine, by the owner, before I used it.
The 'brushes' or what ever they call them, are as soft as a babies bottom.
When I came out the other end, my car was spray waxed and finished off by hand, by the owner of 'the machine'.
And all of this for a kings ransom of........22 Euros........

It is not an Enzo Ferrari, it is a 16 year old BMW 3 Series with two seats and if I get "swirls" I will give it a total re-spray as I did last year......now that is what I call detailing.......... :D

Stick that in your bucket Liam..... :ymdevil:

PS. If I get a chance, I will post some pics.

I thought you had an F-wit to wash your cars HT.
Have you sacked him or just banished him offshore for a while?

Funny you should mention that, he went offshore 06.00 hrs yesterday morning.
Phuckknows is a handy Turk to have around when it comes to car detailing, he did all the rubbers with PE100 on my car before the hardtop went back on........ :)

HT I have no quibbles with you using it.. Just from the video it shows drive in without a pre wash and without waxing at the end.. I didn't know they waxed at the end and finished by hand etc...

Sorry! :-B
