Was there ever an airbag recall for the Z3?

Seems strange there isn't one (know to me at least). Most of the vehicles of that era seem to be affected.
did the Z3 have a recall? Anyone knows?

I don't think it did. It seems the original bags or inflators or whatever were made by Petri, not Takata. There's been a couple of articles online over the years saying there is some risk that a repair might have been done with an affected Takata bag, which would introduce the risk. Presumably that would be for cars that were involved in a crash at some point.
