Warning, beware, STAY THE f*** AWAY from this absolute fcking shthead!!
https://en.shpock.com/i/WKcHNjM0zQ16i0V1/

I've asked him 5 times before I travelled about the car, whether it's all good and was assured it's spot on besides small dent in the door and small tear in the roof...

He well knew I was gonna travel 5hrs to get there.

I got there, the car is: door has a complex denting all over + scratched, wheel arches rusted, under the right door there's a massive (10inch long 4 inch high) missing spot of paint - completely missing, front bumper cracked, all bumpers covered in scratches, roof - around window one massive ugly silicone job that looked like it's fall apart if wind blows (in other words, the whole roof completely f***ed), about a ton of water in the boot, boot had massive dent and scratch over it, noisy clutch, popped out speaker glued back very visibly with grey silicone, non-functioning radio and overall a ton of very badly masked scratches, rust all over wheel arches covered with cheap foil (whole body work of the car is a write-off imho) and I'm sure I've not mention and found it all!

Now to make me more f***ED, there are no more busses etc. back up to Ayr (to Glasgow, than about 40miles west), so I'll be looking into spending a night in Preston.

I sincerely hope everyone here will never have a similar f***ing experience.

Rant and warning over.

By the sound of it I doubt if Andy or Adrian would've bought it to break.:(

@Lee I didn't expect it to be perfect. But I expected he's not gonna lie that massively about it.

Well theres potential there. Rare alpina wheels. Chrome grills, Looked like heated seat buttons and if its got an MOT for £895 I would buy it and fix her up. Also they might be M seats.....

@Lee If you wanted to do that, this is what I've noticed: The wheels were completely screwed up by someone not being able to park next to a curb. You would have to completely strip and repaint the car, fix up the massive broken in door and boot (ideally change the door)change the soft top, repair the wheels, change the seals, repair the clutch and the gearbox as that was sticky as hell, not to mention the 1st gear, I've not bothered to look at the suspension at more in depth, also strange vibration from the engine every now and than an irregular sound. And of course the speakers and stereo that didn't work.

This is what I've found in about the 10mins I've spent with it, by no means I think it's the final list of stuff that's wrong with it.

Only bright side were the sport heated seats - with the driver seat being thoroughly worn.

It's probably the right sort of money with an MOT, especially with the seats and wheels.

But it doesn't excuse things if you feel you've been mislead.

@mrscalex I was told: the car is 100% perfect, has small dent it the door with no paint damage and small slight tear in the roof.

Made sure I've heard right several times

I agree Rob, when the seller knew he was travelling down from Scotland he should have been maybe more accurate in his description. Maybe he thought he was. . . . . . . . . .

T-tony I think he was literally ripping the p***. And yeah, I forgot to mention the wing mirror that was hanging on to the body by sheer will of duct tape and totally smashed. He just kept saying "I forgot about that" or "I didn't notice that" (didn't notice 10x5inch missing spot of paint for instance, swimming pool in the boot, massive dent and scratch on the boot etc.)
