Warning, bmw sills labelled up wrong

A local Z3 member just having some new sills done on his widebody the garage had sprayed them ready to go on to his car and they found out after they were sprayed that they were both the same side aparrently BMW had mixed the order up and lots of sills coming into the country are labelled up left and right but the same side...

so beware to check before getting them painted that they are the right side..

dont know whether this is just an excuse from bmw or the wrong ones were ordered just thought i share this...

if it helps anyone making the same mistake..

36 boxes of sills so i have been told with the correct part number for passenger side

You would have thought the paint shop would have realised they were the same hand.

i dont think they had seen the car were just given the sills... and they are very alike..

That's good to know, thanks, I am going to need to order a pair of widebody sills in the next month or so.
