    Hi Zroadster org

I've been looking for a nice S54 engined roadster for some time and having been pipped at the post twice recently, thought I'd take a more proactive route!

I'd ideally like a lowish mileage (sub 60K?) car with full history and a hardtop. Would consider most colours.

I'm in no desperate rush - I'd rather wait for the right car. If you are thinking of selling then stash my details away and please let me know!

    Welcome 911SC,

You are looking to pick from a very small pool of cars, so probably good that you are biding your time! Is your name any indication of your current car?

There is a mint condition hard top for sale on here. Would give you something to polish while you are waiting ;)

    Cheers, Gary

    Thanks Gary.

Yes - it's a 1982 Sport Coupe that I've owned for 8 years and I'm trying to persuade the wife that it should stay even if a Z3M turns up! Wish me luck!!

    Hence I've plenty to polish!

Sounds cracking, so we shall be needing some pictures of that then! We are all car nuts after all... Mainly nuts to be honest.

    Don't taunt me!!!

This is one of the two I just missed out on! Sold today and would have been ideal. Hence my request.

Thanks for the second thread. I'd probably like something with a few less miles ideally albeit I know I'm fishing in a sparcely stocked pond!

Thanks Brian! One minute they are rare as hens teeth and the next like buses. Would you believe this week i have found another one and actually bought it! Frustratingly its got a higher mileage than the Yorks car but cest la vie! I'm off on the train for 3 hours in the morning to collect it. Looking forwards to learning all about it on the drive home .

Very nice!! Always liked the 993 and have considered swapping the 911sc for one but then when I drive it I love the pure simplicity of the way it goes - no electronics and the most responsive steering in the world. A nice pair you have (so to speak) and by the look of your garage, plenty of room to grow the collection!!!!
