Vibration through the seats

I noticed I have a vibration coming through the car from the rear tonight on the motorway. It started around 70mph. Is there any common problems or is it possibly bad wheel balance or bad tyres. Thanks

Tyres, had it on a Merc, for some reason it was a small patch down to the wire, so to speak, could not see it until I moved the car a few times to check them over.

First thing I would look at Andrew would be wheel balance and/or tyre condition, ie lumps or out of shape.

Yeah car is going into the garage tomorrow to get it checked and the tracking tweaked slightly. Think new tyres this week as it has budgets on the rear as it slides so easily. Thanks all

Got it sorted. Fitted a pair of Goodyear eagles and that has fixed it. Was starting to worry incase the rear wheels were buckled but all is now good. Thanks
