Hey,

I had a question for you Z3 experts. I only have ever driven one Z3 and thats the preowned one I now own. Ive noticed that the steering wheel shakes quite a lot. I am wondering what kind of thing could be the issue. I replaced the front control arm bushings since they were torn but that didnt help at all. Its not just at high speed. Its at any speed. It just feels like the steering is a bit jerky to the left and right and makes it a very not smooth ride.
Could it be the suspension?

My car has 153.4K miles on it. That said, I am open to anything you guys can give me and ways I can diagnose the issue since funds are tight on my end. I will take any steps and troubleshooting help that I can get.

Thoughts?

Are the wheels stock or after market? They may be missing spigot rings this can cause heavy wobble if the wheel centre bore is to large.
It may be the tyres the z3 is prone to tramline on poor tyres this would pull it around also but not really cause vibration.
Wheels may need balancing too.
Hope you find the issue

First thing I would do is have the wheels balanced (all four) and the tracking checked.
