USB chargers

Hi all, we are thinking about mounting some usb sockets for charging phones, we would like them to be mounted towards the rear so the cables and phones and sit in centre console. Any suggestions of ways to get power there??

There'll be plenty of power at the back of the fag lighter, not controlled by the ignition switch so needing a charger socket with it's own on/off switch. Plenty of them about, and some come with a voltmeter built in.

I thought that, how do I take power from the lighter? Is there a plug and play harness?

The lighter has a couple of Lucar connectors on it, either join into the wires and run a couple of foot of wire back or use the connectors to add on a bit more wire. All I did with mine was take the lighter socket out and put the USB charger in it's place.
