Another way of taxing the historic car owner. Not that they actually care as these people in power get the latest at our expense on their expenses.

Just adds to the cost of motoring. Start a revolution or just pay up. Too old for the former now!:(

Fortunately the chances of me driving in the Smoke are less than Zero. Just another method of stealing money from the motorist, in my view :(

Well, my daily driver is a 2009 E91 320i touring. It's a non euro spec as it's first 5 years were spent in Sydney. Only the eurospec cars were fitted with the dodgy N43 engine post 2007, my car is fitted with their modified and uprated N46TU motor which was never supplied or emissions tested in Europe
DVLA upon it's import in 2015 classified it as the 2005 - 2007 version which was fitted with the pre TU version of the N46 engine. My reg doc does not quote an emissions figure. With the many mods that the TU version got, different ECU and mods to the head and more the BHP was increased by 5 BHP. So I feel there's room to argue how they'd argue the classification of my car. I suppose I'd need to dispute the road tax band with the DVLA first.

Haven't driven in London for a while, used to enjoy the challenge. Great fun late at night, but that's another story.;)

Only driven in London when I was being paid to do so. Public transport is much easier.

These days it’s park in Richmond and jump on the underground. Unless it’s needed with testing equipment.

Tedious boring journey into London early hours and then putting up with the congestion trying to get out when the job is done from my experience helping a mate out doing blind fittings but have been to some interesting places in the smoke the ‘arab’ bank was something else rather flash but sic for me talk about the Kardashian’s what ever that means. If I ever venture in there with the wife 1st class train booked seats no point in paying for a 1st class stand the only way I’ll ever venture in there.
