Hi I was curious to see what tyres everyone uses. My zed runs 255/35/18 rear and 235/45/18 front on the front it has continental. But the rear is just budget. I have ordered new continental rears but does anyone have a favourite Iv always been a Dunlop man on bikes but unsure about the zed. Thanks in advance

Mines on the same size as you but I run on a full set of Vulcan 452's. Very happy with them and I think quite popular amungst the troops.

Tyres are a difficult subject, so many choices, so many recommendations, so many prices. A never ending debate.

Like Tony said, it's a hugely emotive subject that we all have a choice in and all to regular decisions to make about.

The tyres are what keeps you shiny side up so it's never worth scrimping on.

I've used Pirellis for years now but my Zed came with Vreds on it. Happy enough with those at the moment.
There's one number on tyres they never tell you about (put there for California) - the wear rate! The higher the number the better the rate of wear. Always worth a look at that number. 100 is high wear rate, 400 is good.

I've got 2 different premium branded on my fronts, and two cheap as chips budgets fitted to mine at the moment with minimal bad effect. They were part worn on the set of rims I bought. My other set of wheels have 2 Vredestein Sessantas and 2 Maxxis MAZ1's.

Iv just done a oil change lol. I'm fitting continental as I have ordered them already. As the car is basically just a toy I'm not worried about wear rate. I used to pay £180 for a tyre on the bike and it only lasted 1800miles. As long as they stick I'm happy thanks
