Having searched for a couple of new Michelin pilot Sport 4's for the rear of the z on a few occasions now I was beginning to wonder why I couldn't locate any the size I required. Just phoned Michelin help line and was told no stock for UK for at least 8 to 10 wks . The very nice chap couldn't say whether it was Brexit, Covid or demand that has caused it.

Spoke to a tyre place I use last week, most stock issues are due to Brexit as most places used to order from the continent when they needed them. They havent caught up yet getting systems in place. His place do tend to hold more stock than some, so business has been good :)

They have a set of rears for me I bought a couple of years ago ready to put on, but not needed yet. I just called in the check they still had em :cool:

Bought them as compounds were changing and the newer one doesnt offer as much grip - they had to change it due to EU regs !!!
Size is 225/45/17 :cool:

I’m finding similar problem getting replacement Falken tyres for the FK453 fitted at present to the M Coupe. New ones are Azenis FK510 235/45 R17 & 255/40 R17. My local depot can get the front but not the rears, they checked the other 150 depots in the franchise, looking elsewhere at the moment.

The Suez canal situation won’t have helped supplies across a vast array of commodities.
