tyre pressures 18 inch recommendations please

anyone give me some recommended tyre pressures for 18 inch rims on a z3 1.9... tyres sizes 225 40 18 front 255 40 18 rear on style 108s.... as its not listed on the door trim of the car only 16 and 17 inch ar listed...

Basivally what pressures are you running 18 inch... thanks

currently set to 30 psi all around going to give it a blast tomorrow...

I run 32 front and 35 rear Al, my rear tyres are 35 series though not 40.

sure mine are 40 series i have another look tomorrow.. managed to sort out the slow puncture on the bead of one of the 108s, I reseated the bead and put some tyre sealant in there seems to be holding pressure now. just want to get a few miles on these wheels before i commit to events on them to see how they hold up and how they feel....

have a few sets of backup wheels if i decide to go back to something else...

When I first put mine on I got the low pressure light on a couple of times and it turned out to be a small leak at the valve stem. Jamie at work sorted it for me.

I fitted all new valves before i had the tryres fitted, but that didnt rule out there could have been a leak there.. i found the leak no problem and broke the bead and reseated it.. seems all good now.. a mate of mine swears by using ultraseal.. i never used it but i may start using it on the z3, he nevers gets punctures but problem is how would you know if you had one... mind wonders...!!!1

Same size as mine, I run 30 PSI all round.

30 psi all round when cold seems to give a nice ride.. checked when warm and 31.5 psi so will stick with that for the moment...

I now run mine at 32 front 34 rear, difference from 30 all round is significant, both in handling and mpg
