Does anyone have any information or a guide on how to do this? I’m hoping to do this within the next week or so and need to know as much as possible before I begin.

    Thanks.

You Tube is often a valuable source of info for these type of modification. Search for Z3 Twin ear Diff. mounting.

I’ve read about it, google it and YouTube’d it. There’s still somethings I’m unsure of that’s why I’ve asked on here.

I can’t figure out if the standard speed sensor works or needs modifications

If the speed sensor is fitted in the Diff. I can't see why there would be any difference just because the diff. has 2 mounts instead of just one?

Maybe easiest thing is either ring Redish Motorsport or email Randy Forbes for the answer to your query.

From what I understand you need the speed sensor that comes with the diff cover and a smaller trigger ring in the diff. The rings dont seam to be commonly available so you can grind the ears down.

I have a diff cover and this maybe on the cards for next winter.

Yes the speed sensor fits and works. I have done this in my z a few years ago.

Did you use the trigger wheel from the E36 diff?
