What would be the suggestions for a few more horses for a 3.0?

Want to keep it reliable and driveable.

Would be nice to be able to put your foot down and have your hairdressing tools slide back on the seat!

Inlet manifold? ECU reflash? Air filter?

What's wort doing and what's not?

@Lee is your man for this. He has the fastest 3.0 in the west!

It should easily push hairdressing tools all the way to the back as it is!
I’d check all is in order with the vacuum pipes, proper service etc could just be lost horses from something simple. I believe Disa valve and the CCV can cause some issues on these.

What did you have before the 3.0?
Might just feel slow because you had a twin turbo GTR before =))

Mitsubishi 3000gt, twin turbo, 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steering! Have Jags, TVRs and Mercs so the Z3 is a bit underwhelming but it does make a great donor.
It is also well screwed together and doesn't suffer too badly from tinworm,
Don't want Z3M power as it will be running on wire wheels with high profile tyres, just want a little bit more.

I think that’s your problem- you missing a pair of hairdryers...

Turbos corrupt - that boost is addictive. The BMW 6 needs (and likes) lots of revs by comparison.

A decent intake and exhaust helps give the sensation of speed, especially roof down :coolsteer)

Failing that there are bolt in supercharger kits available...
