Aporth? :wideyed: gonna have to Google that :(

Daft Apeth:

A Northern (specifically Lancastrian) term for a fool, roughly equivelant to the modern term 'muppet'.

Not really an insult, almost a term of endearment.

Pronounced as 'a-peth' (longish A-)

Origin: Shortening of a daft 'alfpenny.

Source(s):Urban Dictionary

Various spellings accepted!!!

Shortening of a daft 'alfpenny.

That's what it means in Lincs. too Gail We write it ha'porth though.

You not finished that cupboard yet @Mint ?

Your taste in beer would not only make @Grumpy puke but me too..:yuck:
Limited choices over there mate. That Yeungling is nice, it's a darker beer not lager or Pilsner. Another very nice one served at Bahama Breeze restaurants is called Aruba Red. Very nice.
