Hi All

This bad boy bracket for a 'phone (fitted by the previous owner!) has featured here before! Its now time to get rid ! Does anybody have any tried and tested excellent tips / recommendations how to fill back the holes --- preferably invisibly?

Might be quicker, easier or cheaper to buy a new second hand trim. They are not extended leather versions so should be cheap
Edit.. £20 on eBay for a pair..sure someone on here may have some cheaper too.

Not sure you can adequately disguise the holes by filler - however you could use some blind grommets of a suitable size - particularly the hardened plastic type.

Give Milliput epoxy putty to fill the holes, you could use a cocktail stick to scribe a surface pattern in it before it sets. I filled a small hole in one of my door pull handles with reasonable success.

Thanks AntStark --- that might well be the end solution! I hadn't realized a replacement could be sourced so easily and cheaply. However, in the first instance the Womble in me is wanting to see if the boomerang can be fixed rather then sent to the landfill. My man math's says that'll be my carbon offsetting for a month =))=))=))
