We went food shopping On Sunday then decided to call in at the local Dealers and ended up with a 535D MSport Touring as well.

Pick it up on Thursday but had a test drive and what an engine 300 bhp and 8 gears.

Wish they sold cars in our local store,
Went to work Monday in the 3 series
Came out of work and it wouldn't go ,( it did have a problem which 4 different garages couldn't fix ) ( spent lots of money trying to fix it ) the mechanic had a look and said the engine had it . So we're now looking for a second car , wonder what we get

Just had a mail from Sainsburys and they are not giving Nectar points for reusing bags any more so doubly broke now.

Just remembered the most useful option on it. Speed limiter.you can set the maximum speed you want to go could be useful on the Motorway me thinks.

Brian, there is a good website, will find it, but they can remap this engine to more BHP and torque than a Ferrari, you must get it done!

Got it about 5pm so had a bit of a play beating the rush hour out of Leicester. Note to self 'watch the speedo more often'

Now have to read the encylopedia of a handbook to see how it all works.

Hi Zedonist I think BMW have played with these engines for the 5 series as the book says 313 PS about 308 hp so will leave well alone.
