Noticed these tyres are getting cheaper.. 225/45/17 are around £65 a corner.
Just wondered if anyone has used them on there car/zed ?
Are they any good or cheap for a reason?

I have used T1R and T1S(sport) on numerous cars such as MX5, Senator ,MV6, Westfields, Alpina B10 and the Z3M with no issues. I do find however the T1s better in really wet conditions. They have also served me well on track days on all the above cars.

Some of the above where on T1R as T1S were not made when I had the cars.

On the Z3M the T1S rears lasted just about 4,000 miles and that was being gentle with them:):)

Sorry I will also add tyres are a very emotive subject :confused::confused: and as we all know depend on driving style etc etc.

By the way I also rate Falken 452 and 453 but on certain cars I have had they were not the best.

Cost should not be the your limiting factor when buying tyres, they need to suit you your car and driving style and live up to your expectations.

Thanks Mr P
Seems they have a fast wear rate hence the cheap price.. Some reviews saying they only lasted 4K! Suppose you really do get what you pay for

I had a set on a previous car and I can concur they wear bloody fast but stonking grip in the dry. Never had another set because I thought they worked out expensive with the wear rate.
