Hi, 99 roadster 2.8 m52tu. It does have some engine mods as in custom tune, cat cams and m5430 intake manifold which I think have made it more noticeable but does everybody feel a power drop off for v small time (depending on gear. In 1st I can't feel it) as the revs pass the disa activation point of about 3800?

There is a step change in the torque curve when the DISA operates. Going from one torque curve to the other due to the length of the air intake etc. Your mods may have made it more discernable. Maybe getting it on the tuners rolling road and change the timing/rpm of the change will smooth it out.
