Top Gear Steps up a Gear

I listen to Chris Evans every morning at work and like him and although he is the obvious choice I'm not convinced but time will tell. I'll shall tune in regardless of who presents it as I'm a massive car program nerd anyway. Are we having a wager on who the Co presenters and going to be?

They will have to give it another format though, will look daft if they try to continue as JC, Hamster & May did.

That's what I was hoping for with the old show Mike, a lot of people I've spoken to have said the same, that it was getting tired. I liked the three guys but the show itself had passed its sell by date IMHO.

Every program runs its natural course but I think Topgear was coping OK. I agree with h/t that it will need reformatting to stand any chance of pulling in the ratings. I do hope they keep some old stuff like the trips abroad tho. 
Jodie kidd does the "classic car show" with Quentin Wilson and is frankly rubbish! She would ruin it for me. There's much better choices out there.
I watched the car show on another side with Jodie and Quintin Wilson and I thought she was terrible.
I am also a car show nerd/nut but gave up on that show so hope its not her!
Chris said on radio he was having lunch with James May and he said 'lets see what happens there'
maybe he is hoping to bring him back as Chris is also to produce the new show apparently.
I saw Suzy Perry's name mentioned somewhere, that would please HT no doubt.

Love James May! He is ace, I'd love to see him back, was never bothered about Hammond, the banter between May and Clarkson was great. So Evans up front with May and........Martin or Glenister?
Thanks h/t. I take it you have a thing......! Without sounding like a boring old fart bag I don't think woman go well with car shows at all. I'm far from sexist so ladies please don't bite my head off! I think woman definitely fit certain programs better like horse shows for one but male presenters suit car shows more. JMHO of course.
Would be nice to see a female co-presenter on there...a young,easy on the eye lass...only saying as it would attract more viewers,male and female
