Does anybody know if the Z3 cigarette lighter socket remains powered up when the keys are out?

Looking at buying a Ctek charger and the adapter for charging through the above!

It does on my 2001 2.2i. I know it does, because I have to unplug my satnav when I park up or it won't auto power off.

My Z3 and Z4 are the same, that's why I need to wire in some ign. powered supplies. It's a pain remembering to plug in my 3 into 1 power adaptor for the dash cam and HUD and to unplug, you can get enough of 10 hrs. of garage door to look through.. One for this weekend.
