I don't have a Tonneau for me Z3 and have been thinking about getting one but am not convinced it is worth it here in the UK...

Do any of you UK owner have them and do you ever use them? If so when, just long trips?

I have one, I only got it out from my shed on Saturday and gave it a good clean ready for the summer. Now I have a hump less boot carpet there is more room to store it in the boot if/when it rains. The tonneau totally transforms the look of he car with the top down in my opinion, so is worth persevering with.:)

I've got one, waste of time and space if you want to carry anything in the boot unless you have a boot rack to strap it on when it rains.ive put ours on once

I use ours and it takes maybe 30 seconds to put on with the help of the mrs and finishes the look of the car, If I didn't have one It would be top of my list :)

I'm going to install some Velcro straps on my boot lid to hold mine. I've bought two must have known I was getting another car. Black and beige.. JIM

I have one as it came with the car when I purchased it. Must admit I have only put on once and that was just to see how it was fitted.
It sits in the shed so I would say it would get little use but I suppose its nice to have one just in case!
I have no idea what they cost, but if I did not have one - would I buy one? the answer would have to be NO.

My initial reply was based on the cover that goes over the head rests and passenger area and clips to the front dash board.

If you are referencing to the rear cover that goes over the folded roof, I also have one of these and it always stays in the boot and use when going on a longer journey, I must admit they do look smart and I do use mine often.

Yes I have one and do use it but only when the weather looks like it'll be ok. It's no fun getting the cover off in a rush when it starts raining.

I have one and use it whenever the weather looks good for the day. I even swapped with another forum member from black to beige to match my trim. 30 second job to put it on and finishes the car off really nicely. Get them off here or eBay around £60-80 so not a huge outlay.

Never had one, never felt the need. Finishes the car off nicely when the roof is down, but makes no difference other than prettiness..

To be honest I never used mine either, but I think it's nice to know your car has all the OEM accessories and you might get to use at some point, you never know.

Well I had a brainwave on this subject... My baby sister has ZED and she has a tonneau, so a quick trip to her house and it was quickly fitted to my car... I have an OEM wind deflector on the way so if they can both fit at the same time (I'm would image they would) then I will get one for myself...

I would agree that it makes the car look better but you would not want to keep taking it on and off all the time...

I bought one because it really improves the look of
The car ! It takes 30 seconds to put on or off so fitting is
No problem. It does take up a lt of room in the boot
But it only goes on when the weather is good.
Well worth it:thumbsup:
