I thought I'd let you read a tail of Nodzed's purchase of his winter project.

I offered to help Niall to collect his Z3 2.8 only to be told it was in Bodmin :banghead:

We arranged to collect the car last Sunday which meant I need to wake up at 6am finding I had a soar throat and feeling man flu coming on I got ready to leave for Niall's house arriving at a little after 8am.

A quick cup of tea and a chat about the day we set off at 8.30am driving to the M5 via the Severn Bridge

We drove to our first stopping point at Taunton Deane Services for a coffee break with a Mc Donald's breakfast. We hit the road again driving to our next stop feeling the man flu getting worse while waited to meet up with @Jack Ratt and Jill after a phone call we agreed to meet up at Chris's the guy who had sold the car to Niall.

for a quick look round and a chat over a brew

Because of the road works on the A30 Gary said he would kindly take us via other roads to avoid this on our return journey with a courteous wave we when our separate ways. Thanks Gary and Jill it was great to be able to spend some quality time with you both again

Heading home Niall pulled into a lay bye as we both need to check the hedging urgently as we walked back to the car I stepped into European lorry drivers feces the last thing I needed. so there I was sat in the hatchback picking at the tread on my trainers with a McDonalds straw. :banghead:
Niall renamed me Shoe Sh1t Steve=))

Once back on the road we made good progress only pulling over for fuel and a tooth brush to clean the bottom of my trainer.

Driving back to Niall's stable to park the stable mates together

A quick drive to Niall's for another brew for the 1.5 hour trip back to mine only to find I'd left my house keys at Niall's. FFS round to Mom's to pick up a spare key.

This is what's called going the extra mile for your fellow zedders...top man Steve, sorry to hear about the Polish poo on shoe incident, how unpleasant:wtf: The car looks a good one though!

When you find that bargain z3M it'll be in a barn in the Highlands and good old Niall will be driving you, probably not in his M though:thumbsup:

It's so nice there are people willing to help others giving up there time and expert advice on all things Z
As mentioned already going the extra mile.
Gives faith some people are still willing to help especially the less knowledgeable in Zeds or the mechanics.
Well done.
Tracy.
