Removed from my 2002 wide body 3ltr not good enough condition to put back on the car as the rest of it is A1 condition. These will tidy up with a bit of work, I will clean off and treat rust patches and post some pics when I get time, but if you are in need of some and prepared to do the work let me know and make a nominal offer which will be accepted. Geoff

Geoff doesn’t strictly mean widebody with respect to the car they came from.

Earlier pre-facelift cars so typically 96-to early 1999 were either narrow body for the 1.9 or wide body for the 2.8. The difference being in the flare of the rear arches. It’s actually quite substantial if you compared side by side.

But Geoff’s car is a facelift. And all facelifts regardless of engine size had the same width rear end.

This image will help. Although it mis-labels the 3rd car as widebody when it’s just facelift. And as post-facelift - no such thing!

I would imagine your sills only fit facelift models.

Thanks for the info. Didn’t know there was a narrow. This is my first year with my 2.8 5speed and it is also my first Z or Zed. But just to be clear, just because I have a wide body, I can’t fit a set of rear 9” stars off of an M or can I.. Love that wheel.

No the 2.8 has longer drive shafts than the //M so the wheels stick out to far

Yes you can but you either need to fit camber adjustable trailing arm bushes and stretched tyres or build a replica M rear end, which I have, and I have 10J ET20 18’s on the back of a 2.8 but it is no mean feat to build.

Not really, I’ll have the sills if the lips are not rusted out. Meaning that if they need painting and don’t need parts re welding where they fold over and retain the plastic arch liners, I’m very interested.

The offside one has a small section that needs a bit of welding which I possibly get done for you but would have to check cost and let you know
Where are you based ?

The body shop that I use has been to busy to sort out my sills but if they are of interest to anybody I will push and get them sorted to as good as new in primer. I still have the boxes that my new ones came in so packing for dispatch by DPD would be no problem Geoff
